In this post, I am going to discuss and analyse about the project development Process 1.
In the last week, I developed three prototypes and I decided to choose one specific design and develop it further. The above image showcase the design which I selected to develop further. Here, I mainly focused on experimenting the color effect on the pre school creche. However, I wanted to add an exterior feature: a rainbow with two clouds which will attract children as well as something that is suitable for children's psychology and development. This design or feature can be seen in numerous places such as cartoons, story books and movies. Therefore, I wanted to design this creche with visual and functional purposes. Thus, I mainly focused on the sky lights and the exterior design of rainbow and how the rainbow color pallet impact on them.
As it is shown, I used the rainbow color pallet which contains violet, indigo , blue, green, yellow, orange and red. I utilized the same color pallet for both of these features after I did the research on color psychology theory and sensory architectural principles. The color pallet is very important on the children's psychology and their development.
