Practical Research on Demographics and target market

 In this post, I am going to research on the demographics and on the target market of the project.

 

Target Market 

                                                          Children Under age 6 

According to my project my brief, I have to design a pre school creche for children under age six of students and staff who work in DMU. Therefore, my target market will be  the children of parents who work and study in DMU. Specifically, I have to focus on working towards to satisfy the target market. I have to design the pre school creche according the psychology of the children under age six as well as being concern about their safety. Therefore, I decided to design the creche in one floor with a combination of sensory exploration. I designed the creche in curvilinear architectural style using a huge glass wall , and circular skylights. Furthermore, I am being concerned about sensory architectural principals and safety measures. However, this creche will be developed with outer fence, wheelchair accessibility, and safety friendly materials.

 Additionally, I have to relocate the pre school creche where the green house of De Montfort University is located. This place is located near the Richmond Road as well as The gateway road. Therefore, it is for the parents to reach the place and drop them. Moreover, the place is located in the middle of the university and the parents can reach to the place in case of emergency. Apart from that, There is a car park near the Philip tasker as well as there will be another car park near the creche too. Therefore, the place is very resourceful and easy for the parents  as well as for the staff to work there.
