  Oak wood or Quercus is known as one of the best hardwood which are commonly used for furniture, joinery, flooring, paneling, and decking. There are more than 600 species of Oak and they can be found in Europe, North America and Japan. These Oak wood are very strong, hard, heavy and dense due to its high tanning content and fungal and insect resistance. Durability, long lasting, attractivity, water resistance are few characteristics that can be found in them. Moreover, wear and tear resistance, stains and polishes well and an ideal for liming are also few advantages of Oak . In addition, high weight, thing oak can be hard to furnish in the veneering process and high tanning content may react with oil finishes are few advantages of Oak (Liberon).



   
Therefore, I am looking forward to use Oak Wood for the exterior of the wall of pre school creche. Further, I am planning to finishing the wood and color them  in rainbow color pallet.  As you can see in the above image, I am planning t use this material for the exterior part of the wall due its durability and eco friendly  nature. 


Fixed Skylights

Skyspan Traditional Skylights or skylights domes are used for the the harnessing of the natural lights of the buildings(“GCSL - Circular Skylight – Glass”) . The skylights are categorized under the energy efficiency strategies which provide the natural light and ventilation in the interior of a building. These skylight types are designed for low profile, economy and easy installation. Therefore, it will be easy to utilize them and also they are in good quality. These skylight type poses 3mm acrylic dome structure while allowing the natural light come in to the interior. Moreover , they accommodate the thermal cycling as well as the tinted domes. The following color pallet is an example for tinted domes.

Moreover, there are few advantages of this skylights such as the natural light, energy efficiency, aesthetic appeal, and unique architectural features. However, the price can be changed according to its size and complexity, glazing types, fresh features, and installation and labor. However, I am planning to use this type of skylight in the pre school creche. The below image showcase how I will use this feature and what type of color pallet I will use for this.
