Prototype Process 2

In this post, I am going to discuss about the process of 3d protype. I started to create my 3d prototype models with materials such as cardboards and acetates.

The below images are some pictures of showing the process of making the 3d models.

This is the first 3d prototype which I developed according to the 2d drawing. I mainly used cardboard and acetate here. As it is visible, I created the main entrance in the ground floor and added a large rectangular window in the side for both of the floors. However the front windows are located in the first floor which allow to receive natural light. I elongated the flat roof towards the front and connected it to the front with two bars. I did this for designing the play ground under the rest of the roof. However, this is the final look of 3d prototype .

This is the second prototype which  I created with cardboard, foam board, mountboard as well as acetate. For the creating of the semi-circular shape I used the foam board and I cut off some parts to make it curvy. Then, I used mount board and carboard for the base, walls and  exterior. Here, I used acetate for the large window and for skylights in the flat roof. I created this 3d prototype according to what I explained in the previous post. Therefore, this is the final look of the 3d prototype.

The below images are few snaps to show the process of making the prototype.

This prototype is the last prototype that I made. For the process of creating this prototype took a little bit of more time. Here, I used mainly cardboard and acetate as the materials. I began to create this prototype according the developed 2d protype concept sketch and this is how it came out. This prototype showcase the design and all the necessary details clearly.

However, these are the 3d protypes which I made after developing 2d prototypes.
