Materials and sustainability 2
For this project, I am researching on materials and sustainability and I did one research on this topic before. Therefore, in this post, I am going to continue with the further research on materials and sustainability such as stone types.

Stone types
Sand stones
"Sandstone is a sedimentary rock formed over millions of years from compacted sand grains, typically consisting of quartz, feldspar, and other minerals". (“What Is Sandstone and What Is It Used For? | Armstrongs Aggregate & Stone Quarry Suppliers”). However, this process occurs when layers of sand accumulates in places like riverbeds, beaches or deserts and then eventually cementing together under pressure to form solid rock. The types of sandstones vary from each other due to their texture ,color and mineral content . Specially. sand stones are widely used for construction due its durability and availability Moreover, it is commonly utilized for building walls, facades due its weather resistance and structural integrity. Natural beauty and versatility, durability and sustainability are few advantages of sand stones. Furthermore, Sri Lanka is a place where can find sand stones easily such as from Willpattu, Kudiramale, and Thabbowa.
Granite
"Granite is a plutonic magmatic rock of natural origin composed mainly of three minerals: quartz, feldspar and mica"(Igor). Therefore this process takes millions of years and involves the slow cooling of magma. Granite has several unique properties such as incredible weather resistance. Moreover, these stones types are utilize for mainly outdoor paving and cladding, building monuments and sculptures. Additionally, it is an ideal material for kitchen granite countertop and work surfaces because of its resistance to heat and stains. Therefore, resistance, durability, ease of cleaning, versatility and its natural beauty are few advantages of granite as sandstones. Furthermore, Eppawela, Anuradhapura and North central province are few places where granite stones can be found in Sri Lanka.
Thus, these stone types have different benefits and they are very suitable for the climate condition of Sri Lanka. Since the eco villa is designed according to the theme of "Earthly delights" I am looking forward to utilize these natural stone types for different usages such as outdoor paving and cladding and indoor work surfaces.

Not sure you have made the strongest links from these materials to your projects in terms of the practical applications of them. Also, some of your student voice has been lost here perhaps through over paraphrasing, remember we want to hear your voice.
