Initial Ideas Generations ( Crazy Thoughts)

In this session we started to generate our initial ideas , for this activity we are received a paper. Here, I divided my paper into eight parts. First, within 2 minutes I had to generate an idea which means I should bring any idea that comes to my mind on the paper. First , the materials that I am going to use came to my mind. I mentioned them  and drew and example. Second, I thought about the shapes that I am going to use for the windows. Specially , I felt it would be perfect if I use rectangular and square shapes for the windows. Third, I thought about the shapes that I can turn some particular sections of the house. Initially, the square , rectangular and triangle and curvy shapes came to mind as my initial theme was "Earthly Delight". And I decide to think how I can get an inspiration from a natural thing or element in order to get an shape to a section of the house. A shape of a leaf came to mind mind at that time. Then, I decided to think to add a staircase which is made with completely natural stones which is suitable for the theme. Later, an open inside  courtyard came to my mind as I was thinking about an Eco villa. Here, a small water body and some plants came to mind and I added them and brought it to the paper. Then, a swimming pool came to my mind in this tie. During these 2 minutes, a swimming pool which is covered with natural bricks and stones came to mind and I drew it. At last, I drew what was in mind when I was thinking about an "Eco villa house".

After this activity, we started to continue this activity in another paper. I had to choose one of the best plan that I had planned before in this activity. Therefore, I selected one of my plans and cut them and pasted them on the paper. I had to divide the second paper into eight parts same. Then , I pasted them on the first row and the second row. Then , I had to improve these selected plan or ideas further within two minutes for each idea. In the first row, I decided to improve the inside open courtyard which is roofless. I improved the idea little by little by adding and changing the placements. Then, in the second row, I improved the idea of eco house. The front elevation of the house was developed in this row.

 

Thus, through this activity, I continued to make new ideas and developed them with changing and adding things. However, it resulted in better ideas.
