Art Portfolio One : Project Statement

 For my AP 1 project, I will create an architectural  plan for an "Eco Villa " which is a Family Holiday Home located near the beach in Mirissa, Sri Lanka. The purpose of this villa is to minimize environmental impacts and promote sustainability through design and construction. Since my initial idea on theme was "Earthly Delight "and the concept of "eco villa " which is designed with "Tropical Modernism Architectural Style " came to my mind immediately as it is relevant to the chosen theme . Moreover, "Geoffery Bawa" and "Mohammadreza Norouz" were my initial inspirational architects who focused  on balancing the connection between the nature and the architecture.  This Eco villa will be located near the beach of Mirissa where the Southern Expressway is located and connected and I will develop the plan which will have a panoramic terrace view of the sea.  Moreover, this villa will be developed consisted with water bodies, green spaces and energy efficiency strategies. However, I will create elevations, section, site plan and concept sketch drawings to improve my sketching skill and I will use "smart Draw "software to create the site plan as my 2d outcome in order to improve my digital skill . Apart from 2d , I will create a 3d concept model as the 3d outcome of the plan.
